It is worth $1B - reason? Perceived value it provides to global society as a whole. I can think of far more worthless things that get billions of dollars thrown at them. Twitter is a universal messaging platform that supports and promotes a void that existed in mobile communication - wide-spread cross-platform short messaging. It's not just a "stupid site" for geeks. Ya know? Yes. It is worth $1B – reason? Perceived value it provides to global society as a whole. I can think of far more worthless things that get billions of dollars thrown at them. Twitter is a universal messaging platform that supports and promotes a void that existed in mobile communication – wide-spread cross-platform short messaging.
